DIAVLO - PARAÍSO
This piece of 3D animation was made entirely in 2 weeks. Solving problems on the fly and discovering new workarounds to make this 4 minutes animation possible.

Acces All Areas Entertainment hired me to create the video clip of the second single of the Rock band Diavlo, for their song: Paraíso. The challenge begins when we are told that we have to release the clip in 2 weeks to make, no more no less than 4 minutes of full animation. The only premise was that it has to be a psychodelic love story and as the only reference by the client, which in these cases we appreciate. A challenge with capital letters. So we created a piece that is about a love crazy trip aboard a car “diavlo.” It represents the similarity that love has with madness, showing that we are able to go 100 times through a broken heart.
We use 3D animation techniques to create a journey through guitars, skulls and improbable landscapes. The visual style is totally influenced by Mike Mignola and Frank Miller (especially Sin City). With a range of 3 colors: red, white and black. We generate a total of 60 scenes to visually create many changes as possible and generate a dynamic video clip. In the process I've learned new techniques and solutions to the challenges with a lot of creativity.
